Post career, I moved into the Media. Working for, Sky Sports, BBC, Talk Sport. Qualified as a UEFA A Coach, working at the Crystal Palace Academy & as 1st Team Coach. Keen Cyclist & Golfer.
Also became involved in Property Development & Business Finance.
I have done a fair bit of networking and found it very hard work and largely a waste of time.
I was introduced to BITA and instantly I was very impressed with the calibre of people, the positivity and energy and desire to actively engage and see where the opportunities were to introduce business or contacts that could be useful. That Givers Gain mentality and honest caring, friendly values, is what has convinced me to join the Surrey BITA chapter and delighted to be Shane's vice Chair and excited about building it with like minded friendly, hardworking people who care and are just as intent on your success as theirs. Building lasting friendships whilst building successful Business's.
